Internet free searches for people’s info. Legal or illegal?

So my wife works at a hospital. Recently a patient has become weird with her. He very clearly has used google to quickly search her information. Which we concluded after our own google search. It displayed all of our addresses for the last ten years and phone numbers. I do not have social media and she is very good about not displaying any information that can be tracked.
