How would an artist be able to maintain privacy if they would use social media to market themselves?

I’m well aware that some privacy would be lost such as people being aware of how you look and who you are and whatnot. But i’m specifically asking about maintaining your private life and preventing your data from being mined.

It would be nice to have two different entities, the artist and just you, basically limiting people from tracking you offline. And limiting the amount of metadata you release.
