How does Blackhat USA compare to Defcon?

Hi folks, I'm looking for ideas on which (security) conference to attend this year and wanted to learn more about Blackhat and how it compares to Defcon and BSides.

I would love to hear from the perspective of:
- depth of technical content
- career development & networking opportunities as a senior sec engineer wanting to explore management opportunities in the next 2-3 years.
- of course fun stuff is important too :)
