Google asking for wife's ID

So recently my G Pay and Wallet stopped working. I got an email saying that Google needs to verify my account before they reinstate it, to protect me from fraud and whatever other BS nonsense excuse they gave me. Nothing out of the ordinary, they did the same a few years back.

I shared my ID with them, it had all the necessary info as it was the same ID I shared previously when they did reinstate my account.
