Getting rid of my digital footprint? Fb?

I want to get rid of my digital footprint on FB. Ive shared a lot of stuff in private groups etc. and private group chats. I don’t really feel comfortable knowing there’s this history online of me

I still want to be able to connect with old friends and stuff though. I’m thinking I have 2 options.
