Fingerprinting via browser extensions

Hello! I've got a bunch of questions about websites fingerprinting you through the use of extensions.


\- Is this method of fingerprinting users that common? (is it worth removing all extensions I have apart from uBlock to prevent my browser being fingerprinted, including other privacy-focused extensions?)


\- Can all extensions be detected by a website? Can developers of these extensions do something to counter this?


\- Are websites aware of which extensions you have, or only the number of extensions? …
