Finding jobs in other countries (as a US citizen)

Has anyone experienced finding jobs in Europe/Asia? Looking at job boards is looking bleak. I'm currently a Web Pentester employed locally and thus living in Taiwan, and they have given me a visa for me to work/live here. I'll probably end up staying here after my permanent residency is acquired, but I've always wanted to go to Europe or possibly Japan. Usually when I see tech jobs abroad, they're almost always software developer jobs. I don't really see cybersecurity popping …
