Federal Contracting Cyber Jobs in NY Possible?

Currently work for a major firm, as a contractor for a state agency. I currently do deployment trainings and system configuration. I want to inevitably move to NY to do similar types of jobs in the cyberspace but am extremely wary that given my experience at Federal Contracting w a clearance I wont find the same type/pace of jobs in NY and am better of staying in DC.







Am I misguided in this? Any thoughts? Anyone done this before?
