My employer (civil engineering firm) is rolling out Bluetooth low energy (BLE) devices to enforce a return-to-office (RTO) mandate of 3 days/week. Compliance has historically been monitored through badge swipes but leadership is concerned that professionals will swipe their badge, then leave for the day without actually working from the office.
