Does Reddit Delete EXIF Data When You send Photos in private message ?

I just read that it deleted exif data when you upload on Reddit but what about the private message on Reddit? I just shared a picture and forgot to remove the exif data, it has my exact location and the iPhone I use and I forgot to remove this before sending.
