Introduction

A few years ago after I bought a house, I decided I wanted to install security cameras. The problems with mass-market systems include:

• Subscription price (that invariably keeps going up).

  Company employees viewing your video.


• The company deciding to discontinue your service.

So I decided to build my own home security camera system:
