Cyber job market for over 50's?

I dont know if anyone else is experiencing this but Im curious as to employability in the market for anyone over 50? Being an old geezer with 10+ years in my current role I was thinking about a move. However a mate who I was working with and of similar age quit without having a new role to go to (manager drove him nuts and he couldnt take anymore) and is now finding it hard to get a new role …
