Car GPS trackers

I recently purchased a used car and found a GPS tracker, the dealership did not disclose any information nor had me sign anything regarding privacy to this device tracking my location without my permission. I live in the state of CA, what should I do about this? Do I just remove it and go about my business or seek legal help?
