Best way to use email aliases ?

Hi

I'm new to the "privacy thing" I was usually using Gmail etc. I've created my ProtonMail account recently, and I would like to create some accounts like on Standard Notes but also on Google, Samsung, etc.

I would like to know what is the best way to use aliases. Should I use a service like DuckDuckGo and create an alias on every account, or maybe creating an alias for each domain (Tech, Video Games, Shopping, ..) ?
