Best smart/fitness watches without giving up privacy?

Title. I used Fitbit for years before Google purchased them but I'm not particularly happy about handing Google constant data about my activity, heart rate, etc. What's a good option that works well but minimizes privacy issues? I have a Samsung Galaxy (yes, I know Google owns android)
