Are you aware you cannot opt out of facial recognition at Heathrow Airport?

Heathrow Airport scans the face of every passenger travelling between Heathrow and a UK/Ireland airport. They don't even need your consent. You have no option to opt-out.

This seems questionable at best. How is this data harvesting considered necessary?
